LEVEL IV HONORS (Grades: 11-12)

Full Year Course Weight: Honors 5 Credits

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Level III College Prep.

The object of this class is to polish the pronunciation and spoken fluency of the students and is achieved through class discussions on up-to-date issues, debates, guest speakers, newspaper reading, and by exploring the ideas of the country’s foremost writers. The language students at this level have an excellent opportunity to perfect their command of the language through phonetics and work in the language laboratory. The lab allows the students to progress at their own pace by listening to comprehensive tapes, records, and by recording their own voices. The students have continued cultural exposure through movies, videos, class excursions, etc. Spanish IV Honors may also be taken as a concurrent course with Sussex County Community College.
